The first time I ever went on a cruise was with Sam, and we went on Carnival’s Imagination. We knew nothing about cruising and trusted our travel agent’s recommendations. I mean, we had nothing to compare it to and it was inexpensive. However, the second time I cruised we went with Royal Caribbean and boy we definitely missed out when we went with Carnival that first time! If you ever go travelling, definitely go with Royal Caribbean’s cruise ships! I’ve been on Allure of the Seas and Oasis of the Seas five times in total and this Candice and Terrell’s Frenchman’s Reef Royal Caribbean cruise wedding is my second time documenting a destination wedding at this exact location!
I can never get bored of this ship! My fave activity is the Flow Rider! If you don’t know what it is, you need to google it and go find it to try it! I can literally spend all day there (only if the line up isn’t that long). We participated in cruise’s volleyball tournaments (we were very very serious haha) as well, and obviously we were gunning for that gold medal! Our room had an balcony that faces the boardwalk and we can actually watch the aqua show from our suites!
I’m so glad they picked Marriott Frenchman’s Reef for their wedding. The grounds are just beautiful and the walkway towards the gazebo faces the turquoise ocean. AHHHH it was a sight that you cannot forget! The day was absolutely gorgeous! Perfect weather, a little windy and the heat was expected. There were loads of iguanas on the walkway down to the beach front because I think they expect tourists to feed them!
Their dinner reception took place back on the cruise at an Italian restaurant called Giovanni’s and THEY HAVE THE MOST DELICIOUS TIRAMISU EVER. Like….EVER. I can forgo the main course just to eat their Tiramisu, that’s how good it was! I’m love being a Toronto destination wedding photographer because destination weddings are always more intimate and always surrounded by the closest friends and family.
Congrats Candice and Terrell! I look forward to play more Volleyball with you two!
