Connie & David | Earl Bales Park Fall Engagement Photos

The crisp autumn air and the delicate colours of reds and creams of the season make a beautiful and romantic back drop for this engagement session.  The fall season is very romantic for engagement photos.  I get asked a lot when is the best time to do fall engagement shoots.  This is very difficult to decide because it varies from year to year.   Sometimes, the colours change as soon as early October hits.  Sometimes, we are still blessed with beautiful reds, oranges, and browns in early November.  It also depends on the location, as the more North you go, the quicker the leaves change colors as it gets colder faster.

Connie and David selected Earl Bales Park for their engagement shoot.  I have been to this park before, but the two went on their own and did their own exploring and found some very interesting areas to shoot!  I love going to places that I have never been before.  It’s exciting – like going on a new adventure together!

We lucked out with a beautiful day ending with a glorious sunset.  It was very cold, but you can’t tell from the photos because Connie is a trooper and braved the freezing weather in her cute outfit, which was perfectly matched for her fall session.  The two make a beautiful and elegant couple!

As a Toronto Wedding Photographer, I would love to go back again to shoot there during the fall this year.  It is a quiet hidden gem, and it is not crowded at all.  The tree lined pathways and simple leading lines are beautiful.
