We had a few hiccups before the Bali Rice Field Engagement shoot in the morning, with the driver arriving late to pick us up for our sessions. (He must have been running on island time!) We had quite a few places planned for the engagement shoot for the day, but we were not able to get to any of them because of the traffic and morning delays.
Before we lost all natural sunlight, we pulled up to the side of the road at Ubud, Bali, where there were these rice fields. This was not a tourist area, but literally a rice field on the side of the road. Thank goodness Ubud is stunning. We definitely were not dressed for trekking in the wet and muddy rice fields. But, Christy’s red dress looked striking against the natural background.
We found a random leaf and it was HUMONGOUS. I really wanted to keep that as a souvenir.
I love spontaneous shoots like these, it makes it so much fun and exciting to be a Toronto Destination Wedding Photographer!
